Every business has to ask itself these questions; Why do we exist? What would be missing if we weren't here? What do people find here that they don't somewhere else? How a business answers these questions shows their focus & goals. In the years since we opened, we've asked ourselves these questions often. Perhaps more importantly, we have listened to our guests, & allowed them to form our vision & the reason we are here. We live in a culture driven by consumerism. The dollar & the clock are the overarching factors informing every decision we make. We think in transactions, this-for-that. In our pursuit of the best deal, our stress over the time we are losing, & the nagging worry that we aren't getting what is owed us, personal touch is ignored or discarded. Food is viewed as a commodity, shopping as a monetary transaction. We want to keep the personal touch. We want to be a store which is guided by the community we serve. A place to slow down, meet friends, & interact about your wants & needs. A place where you are free to express your opinions, where you feel heard. We want to learn, & to teach what we learn. We welcome all feedback, ideas, & suggestions. Let us know how we can serve you, & how we can continue to adapt to the wonderful community we live & serve in. We want you to think of this store as your store.
